Description of the Drawing
This braille drawing shows a scene on the beach. You can touch four objects in the picture. The easiest one to recognize is the largest object: the parasol that provides a cool, shady place. On the left of the parasol are a pyramid-shaped sandcastle and a shovel. On the right side of the parasol is a ball lying on the ground. The many individual dots on the bottom of the picture symbolize the beach with its innumerable grains of sand.
This braille drawing was originally created for the non-profit organisation einfach machbar e. V. during the project “Blind Children Draw Pictures – Drawing with Letters” financed by the charity Aktion Mensch.
