Description of the Drawing
On the top of the braille drawing is a continuous line, which depicts the contact wire. The tram is connected to it via a strap and gets electricity this way. The two-part tram is shown from the right. In the middle of the tram is a hinge, separating the locomotive in the front from the sidecar at the back. Right in front is the driver’s cab followed by a door and two windows. The sidecar is equipped with three windows and a door. The two dots, which you can find on the tram’s outside in the front and at the back, indicate a gear. The two wheels at the right side of the tram are only partly visible, as most of them is covered. The lower line in the picture depicts the rails trams are attached to.
This braille drawing was originally created for the non-profit organisation einfach machbar e. V. during the project “Blind Children Draw Pictures – Drawing with Letters” financed by the charity Aktion Mensch.
